I have not tried it with the range tool, but rather selecting all the events in the project (or part of the project that I want to export). It is in the Audio menu if I remember correctly. What you describe is best done with the bounce function.

I havent tried it myself but people says its the dogs bollocks.I think this tool is more for situations when you want to export with effects. There is an app that supposedly does all the exporting for you. You can give client the new folder you just created or just the audio folder under the new folder, they can now import those audio files into their own DAW. tick remove unused media, this will send to that new folder only the audio files that you have just bounced /consolidated this way they will be raw tracks that are the same length from start to end. Then a dialogue will pop up it will say project name where you can rename if you want followed by 3 options that you can tick. once you have done this go to File: save project to new folder save choose a diffeerent location but make sure you use creat to create a seperate folder. what this command does is simple it consolidates all of your events to single audio files. once you have it all highlighted go to the audio menu in this menu there is a command for bounce selection hit it. once you have the range selector you will use it to highlight every event in the edit window by clicking on open space and dragging across all events. First I bounce selection to do this use the range selctor tool its the dotted square looking tool next to the object selector, or just use the number 2 ( the key 2 just above the letter w not the one in the numeric keypad) to access it. I dont remember where any of these process's are located since I have created macro's and Key commands for everything and never use the menu to actually look for anything.

I just want ONE raw fie for each channel!Ĭan anyone shed any light? There must be a way! Ive gone through the manual, and played around with the different exports "export selected tracks", "export OMF", "export aes31" etc, but still get a bunch of different files for each channel (representing all the different edits, drop ins etc). It also means if the band want the multitrack files, they can grab em without my settings (simpy take away the mixer setting file).īut there must be a quicker easier way! this would take hours tutt

I can put all these files in a folder with the mixer setting file for the project and have full backups for each project in a small footprint. What I want is a single file (with no fx, automation, eq etc and volume and pan 0) for each channel used in a project. Did a search on this, but couldnt find anything so if theres been a thread covering this, please let me know.
